The Business of Sports Social Media

Way to Play Founder Andreas Plastiras was recently invited to deliver a training session with the team at Slate - a content creation platform for social teams.

The ask? To provide Slate with an upskilled understanding of the sports social media space, and the context that content lives within Sports business. In other words, why is social and content important in Sports Marketing? And how can this medium be maximised to deliver results.

This one hour session was delivered over Zoom and shaped the story of why Sports is big business, outlined present threats to the sports landscape and showcased why and how social media can harnessed to create and provide value.

Below is a snapshot taken from the document that was presented.
