Richard Norton
Richard is Head of Commercial and Marketing at eSkootr Championship (eSC), the first global micromobility racing series, focused on revenue functions including brand partners, race hosts, team franchises and commercial strategy, as well as the marketing and promotion of the sport.
Previous roles included working on the commercial and strategy functions in football at both Arsenal and Manchester City, as well as agency side at Nielsen and The Sports Consultancy.

The eSkootr Championship has a clear vision that demonstrates Rich’s desire to genuinely improve the health and well-being of citizens across the world through sport.

An integral part of the eSC philosophy is the fact that the organisers want to promote diversity & encourage participation from everyone they come across.
Celebrating Cities
Richard wants the racing to be the key part of the eSC, but he also wants patrons to have a cultural experience. Localising elements such as food, music and art, the eSC aims to showcase the very best of each city it has a race in.
Welcoming The New Generation
When you’re developing a brand new sport, it’s important to look to the future. Seeing the interest kids have in scooters, Richard knows the importance of showcasing the eSC competition to young people.
