Aaron Wharton is a sports industry professional having worked in Melbourne and Sydney for the past 12 years. During his career, he has immersed himself into roles primarily focused on community & fan engagement.

Aaron has been involved in the delivery of key events including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Cricket World Cup 2015 Fanzone & Trophy Tour, W/BBL Fanzone (2014-17 & 2019-2022), Mardi Gras Fair Day Event Manager 2019, Yaburn Festival Event Manager 2019, Sydney Sixers Fan Days 2019 -2020, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades Fan Days 2013-2017, BUPA Cricket Australia Fan Day activator, Diwali Festival stall holder, Sydney Sixers Trophy Tour 2020-21 and social competition management 2010-2013.

He has developed a passion for delivering world-class experiences that are inclusive for all members of the community. It’s here where Aaron was able to see how crucial a team’s dynamic & attitude is for overall company culture. As Aaron explains, working at the Sixers was like being in a big but friendly family.
